Harlow ABC Annual Boxing Show

Kevin was last up and what a tough fight this proved to be!

The very experienced and strong opponent for Kevin was hungry for another win but so was Kevin as it seemed.

This being a 4, 2 minute round something Kevin has never done before. It was not only a test for his boxing ability but a test of stamina and strength.

Kevin connectd again with some very affective left hooks and right hands. Kevin's ducking a weaving proved to be a very important factor throughout. The opponent certainly wasn't going to give up that easy. The opponent giving Kevin something to think about throughout the contest he certainly gave as good as he got. The four rounds certainly proved to be long enough for both boxers but on the night Kevin was victorious with a unanamous points verdict much to the delight of his supporters.

Harlow Boxing Coach Steve Andrews said, "All boxers proved there fitness and all deserved victories. I am very proud and would like to congratulate all four boxers."

Congratulations to all boxers at the Harlow Boxing show.

James Blackmore, Ben Mitchell, Matt King and Kevin Wootton were all in action at the packed out venue in abercrombie way.

All four boxed excellently, Ben, Matt and Kevin won their bouts with unanamous dicisions. James was very unlucky not to get the nod from the judges but overall the night went excellently.

Ben came up against a very strong and determined opponent who Ben had previously beaten a few weeks earlier. Ben connecting with some very hard and powerful shots and the ducking and weaving that came with that proved to be Bens biggest asset. With a very large supportters club he went on to Win the bout.

James Blackmore was up against a very strong opponent too who also proved to be the same style as James. They both traded punches simutaneously connecting with some heavy shots. It was a very well and hard fought contest but james was just unlucky not to get the decision on the night.

Matt King was next on the list for a hard fought contest.

This being Matts first fight back for a few years he proved to be the overall winner, but not an easy win though.

Having seen matt box in previous years he certainly didn't excell himself. He connected with some affective shots and his experience from previous years showed. It was very much punch for punch but overall a good come back win.
