Congratulations to all Boxers on the Harlow show on Saturday the 12th November 2005.

There were 17 bouts over all with some very good class boxers turning up on the night. The Harlow boys showed lots of determination and effort. Two of the Harlow boys had their first bouts which were very competetive but unlucky in the fact that they didn't get the result they were looking for.

Well done Jorden and Luke.

Luke Gostelow was very unlucky not to get the nod from the judges as this was a very well fought contest from the young and up and coming fighter. His opponent not giving him the easy ride but overall I think Luke deserved the win but it just wasn't to be. Well done Luke.

Kevin Wootton was also on the show which was a last minute fight which showed Kevin challenged as he was up against a very strong and determined Fighter. It was very much a scrappy fight and Kevin just found it awkward to get his boxing together which he is used to. Although after the three rounds Kevin had done enough to Win a unanimous points victory over the strong Kingston Lad.

 James Balckmore was in action on 07/11/05 at The Manor of Groves Hotel.

 This being James's first amateur fight, first round James came out strong connecting with some straight lefts and rights.

 The opponent from harwich looked more relaxed and composed and being a south pore James felt it quite awkward to gain control of the fight. Second round saw James fight on with a lot more grit in his teeth and determination, probably from the words of advise from the two trainers Paul Allan and Steve Andrews.

 Third and final round saw James bobbing and weaving and coming forward in a last effort to win the fight. The final decision going to the boy from Harwich but a well fought and determined effort from our Harlow boxer.

 James has nothing to feel disappointed about as this was a great first fight to watch.
